SolidSpace, LLC a leading provider of robust hosting infrastructure services today announced the acquisition of privately held HostForce, a hosting and managed services company based in St. Paul, MN, in an all-cash transaction. Financial details were not disclosed.
According to SolidSpace, under the terms of the agreement, SolidSpace will assume full responsibility for all of HostForce’s existing managed services customers, as well as HostForce’s eCommerce and reseller management software. The two companies will work together to transition all customers to the SolidSpace data center in Winston-Salem, NC within the next 90 days. The transition will be completely seamless and transparent to the customers.
In addition to doubling the SolidSpace customer base, HostForce brings tremendous value to the SolidSpace family with its eCommerce technology which will be made immediately available to SolidSpace’s existing client base as an add-on product. HostForce also has a very established reseller network, significantly expanding the reach of SolidSpace’s sales channel. The HostForce innovative reseller management application will provide measurable value to SolidSpace’s entire partner network by enabling them to easily and efficiently manage their customer base and service offerings.
