According to the company, 4PSA VoipNow 1.2 comes with a Fax Center option that can be enabled on any phone extension. Once activated, this function detects fax calls, receives faxes, and saves them in PDF format. The account owner can be notified when a new fax message is processed. Interaction with third-party software has been greatly improved in the 4PSA VoipNow 1.2 release. Bogdan Carstoiu, 4PSA VoipNow architect explained, ”The new version introduces a SOAP based communication API. It is possible to create, edit, and delete user accounts, adjust user permissions, setup extension’s features, etc using a standard API interface that can be contacted over HTTP. Any billing application, account sign-up program, custom control panel, etc can interact with 4PSA VoipNow.”

Over twenty other improvements are available in the new version. From queue conversation monitoring to improved interface usability, all new features increase customer satisfaction and maximize productivity. 4PSA VoipNow 1.2 is also available for Suse 10.x operating systems and can be installed faster on Virtuozzo hardware nodes due to the Virtuozzo template packaging. The software deployment on virtualized machines makes it even more attractive for service providers. The update tasks can be centralized and the server resources are better used without sacrificing performance or reliability. 4PSA VoipNow 1.2 is available now with prices starting at 299USD.
