In Conjunction With the Los Angeles Mission, Web Host Globat.com Will Feed a
Homeless Person for Every New Customer Until November 24
For every new account sold until the
day before Thanksgiving Day, Web hosting provider Globat.com will pay
for a Thanksgiving meal for a homeless person in Los Angeles. Globat.com is
working with the Los Angeles Mission to ensure that each new hosting account
purchased between November 1 and November 24 will result in feeding someone
less fortunate this Thanksgiving Day.
"Thanksgiving is a time when we reflect back on our year and give thanks
for what we have. Globat.com has had a great year, so we want to share our
good fortune with those in Los Angeles who are less fortunate," said Globat
CEO Ben R. Neumann. "We are working with the Los Angeles Mission to ensure
that potentially thousands of people in need will be able to enjoy a full
Thanksgiving meal this year."
Marshall McNott, president of the Los Angeles Mission, expressed their
gratitude by saying, "It’s because of donors and businesses as Globat.com that
we can provide the free meals and services we offer to the homeless. Bless
them for this creative way to provide the resources we need."
In conjunction with other promotions to be launched in November, all
surrounding its popular $7.95 per month GigaByte Package(R), Globat.com is
confident that up to several thousand homeless people will benefit from an
influx of new customers. A "free digital camera" and new photo album hosting
product launch due for release next week is expected to result in a record
number of new signups for the fast growing Web hosting provider.
