The metropolitan fiber network solution connects 1 and 1’s newest Data Center, located in Lenexa, Kansas with a number of Internet bandwidth providers, carrier hotels and network hubs in Kansas City, Missouri. American Fiber Systems, as part of its major dedication and focus on the enterprise market, built a 4-node, point-to-point, metro fiber circuit which included three major telecommunications Points of Presence (POPs) already on the company’s network in the Kansas City metro area.
