(The Hosting News) – Open-Xchange, provider of business-class open source collaboration software, announced agreements with hosting providers SuperHost.pl and uti.pl to deliver Open-Xchange e-mail and groupware as Software as a Service in Poland.
With the latest update, Open-Xchange added Polish language support to existing support for Dutch, English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish. With SuperHost.pl and uti.pl, two leading hosting providers in Poland are offering affordable, business-class e-mail and groupware as Software as a Service based on the Open-Xchange platform.
“We are constantly extending our sales into growing markets in Eastern Europe, Middle East and Asia,” said Rafael Laguna, CEO of Open-Xchange. “Software as a Service is the perfect software distribution model for millions of small- and medium-size enterprises (SME) in those emerging markets, looking for less expensive alternatives to the established Microsoft solution stack.”
With more than 50,000 customers, SuperHost.pl is among the top 10 largest hosters in Poland. Since 2003, SuperHost has offered hosting services to SME customers. It ranks among companies providing the highest quality services. Last month, SuperHost replaced its existing Horde platform with Open-Xchange and now offers Open-Xchange webmail, groupware and mobility as “WiseMail Xchange” to its customers.
“Open-Xchange fits perfectly into our hosting products portfolio with e-mail, VPS (Virtual Private Servers), as well as website and domain services,” says Michał Jerzyk, CEO of SuperHost. “The new attractive Open-Xchange webmail solution will drive the adoption of our webmail offering. We are now able to introduce new groupware features at additional charges very effectively by using the Open-Xchange ‘built-in upsell trigger’ technology.”
uti.pl, the new brand of wirtuale.pl, provides hosting solutions for small- and mid-size businesses in Poland. “We had been looking for a powerful business e-mail solution for our clients. We have evaluated various solutions and found that Open-Xchange has the best product in the market, as their technology is designed for hosting environments and their OXrate business model is a perfect fit with our go-to-market strategy,” says Szczepan Rędzioch, CTO of uti.pl.
