(The Hosting News) – Open source cloud software provider OpenStack on Monday announced a new training marketplace to help make it easier for people to participate in courses from OpenStack ecosystem providers such as The Linux, Foundation, Red Hat, Aptira, Mirantis and others.
“The goal of the Foundation is to eliminate barriers to OpenStack adoption, create more OpenStack experts and ensure that OpenStack has a positive impact on the careers of our community members,” stated OpenStack Foundation executive director Jonathan Bryce through a blog post.
The organization also emphasized that that OpenStack expertise “continues to pay off,” citing the number of available jobs in the field.
As an IaaS, Openstack has received support from companies including AMD, IBM, HP, Dell, Cisco and others. More information on the training marketplace can be viewed here (openstack.org).
