(The Hosting News) – Users relying on PHP-based content management system Drupal now have a new option following the unveiling of a platform by cloud solutions provider FiberCloud on Wednesday.
Contained within the new solution are Drupal servers containing a variety of features pertaining to colocation, cloud servers, web hosting, and dedicated servers. In a press release regarding the matter, FiberCloud COO Susan DeFlorio discussed providing for the content management system, referring to Drupal as a “quickly evolving community.”
“We put our infrastructure to work for them with the sole purpose of making life easier. We want them to get what they need to get off the ground and do what they do best, without even thinking about the hardware,” commented DeFlorio.
FiberCloud said it stores the servers in its secure audited data center facilities. The solutions also contain revenue and deployment options in addition to a LAMP stack.
Among FiberCloud’s services are a variety of other offerings including those pertaining to SharePoint, server backup, managed colocation, network connectivity and more. The company operates three data centers, all located within the state of Washington.
Drupal has been around for over a decade now, providing Internet users with a website management platform with the ability to support a variety of platforms including MySQL, Apache, Microsoft SQL Server and more.
FiberCloud’s unveiling of Drupal servers follows an announcement last month in which the company revealed an expansion of its sales and marketing team to keep up with an increase in demand.
