(The Hosting News) – Thoughtbus, a provider of services including hosted Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Lync Server, CRM and mobile, has been acquired by hosting provider SherWeb, the companies announced in a press release on Monday.
Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
The two providers share a common service in providing for SharePoint.
“Thoughtbus’ move to the SherWeb platform was a logical step as the cloud hosting environment has been getting intensely competitive over the years. However, our main focus is and has always been around our customers and partners. We want them to not only adopt a hosting provider that shares our commitment to meeting organizations’ individual needs but also to get the best value for technology, scale and service that the market has to offer,” remarked Nomia Inc. President and Founder Geoff Citron.
Nomia Inc. is Thoughtbus’ parent company.
Aside from SharePoint, ShareWeb provides for services including email and collaboration, online backup and hosting.
