(The Hosting News) – If fans of SingleHop recall, the full-service managed hosting provider marked the success of its third quarter by doing a sky-dive at an altitude of 14,000 feet. We haven’t decided yet how to mark the success of our fourth quarter and full-year progress for 2009, but we are working on it. For the fourth quarter ended December 31^st, SingleHop generated revenues of $1.88 million, representing a 16% increase over the third quarter of 2009. Revenues increased 99% over the fourth quarter of 2008, yielding an annualized run rate of $8.4 million. For the full-year, the company-generated revenues of $6.1 million, a 185% increase over 2008. Other achievements for the full-year include:

• An increase in EBITDA over 2008 of 1,222%.
• Over $300,000 investment in network upgrades
• Release of on-demand firewall, SnapShield
• Release of dedicated server rescue system, Server bailout mode

Among the highlights for 2009 were the opening of SingleHop’s second data center and the release of SingleHop.mobi. The data center facility has top of the line specifications in redundancy, security, connectivity, and cooling systems. The facilities’ power, UPS system, and HVAC systems are rated at a minimum of N+2, which means that for each system there are two independent backups that ensure ongoing functionality were the original system to fail. The data center is located at DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc’s (NYSE:DFT) facility in Elk Grove Village, IL — one of the most technologically advanced facilities anywhere in the world. SingleHop.mobi, specifically for the iPhone, is the market’s most robust, feature-rich remote webhosting control panel. This application allows SingleHop’s customers to reboot servers, view bandwidth graphics, submit standard and priority tickets, manage billing, view server details and more – all from their iPhones.
