StreamSend Prepares for Future Growth by Expanding Workforce

(The Hosting News) — StreamSend, a leading email marketing software provider, plans to increase it’s business in the new year by hiring more experienced employees.

One of the new employees is Dan Abbott, whose role at StreamSend as a channel business development executive. Mr. Abbott will be identifying, building, and managing long-term relationships with strategic partners and resellers. Abbott brings more than 18 years of experience in technology sales and business development, with a proven track record of developing new markets and distribution channels for hi-tech and business services organizations, to StreamSend. He also has experience with new product development, product management and operations management. His pre StreamSend work experience includes a position as senior director of business development at ICDS Inc., a content distribution and collaboration solution provider. Dan holds an MBA from California State University, Hayward, specializing in computer information systems, and a bachelor of arts in marketing from California State University, Fullerton.

StreamSend has also added Brenna Morlan as a business development executive. Her focus will be on developing relationships with local businesses in the Sacramento metropolitan area. Morlan has more than 16 years of experience in advertising and sales with broadcast, print and internet solutions companies. With a highly successful background as a general sales manager of a multi-million dollar real estate print and online marketing solutions company, she brings both sales and advertising expertise to her role. And having been a local business owner, she has the experience to understand the needs of Sacramento business owners.

On the development side, Scott Albertson joins StreamSend as a web programmer. His responsibilities include ongoing maintenance to and enhancements of the StreamSend application. Albertson brings more than five years of development experience to the company, working on projects ranging from a large content management system to a hosted point of sale application. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from California State University, Chico. Prior to StreamSend, Albertson was co-founder of a web development company and built another small web startup company.
