(The Hosting News) – Colo provider Telx on Wednesday unveiled an upgrade at its data center presence located in Clifton, New Jersey.
Included in the mix was an achievement of Tier III status from the Uptime Institute along with the acquisition of a new facility.
In a press release, company CEO Eric Shepcaro discussed how the moved represented something larger. “We intend to develop both assets into a world-class interconnected property with both buildings adhering to some of the most stringent compliance requirements,” Shepcaro remarked.
He continued, “We are also excited to be able to fully control this entire location with new operating procedures, a secure perimeter and the development of a new Telx technology center for future R&D and product development. In fact we have already begun evaluating wireless and other technologies between this location and our Manhattan datacenters.”
Solutions from Telx pertain to industries such as cloud, financial, digital media and networking.
