(The Hosting News) – QueenOnline has recently announced in a post that Tucows/OpenSRS’ YummyNames Unit has donated FreddieMercury.com domain to Freddie Mercury’s estate.

QueenOnline statement:

“In a recent act of fantastic generosity, domain registrar company Tucows Inc. secured the domain name FreddieMercury.com and donated it free of charge to Freddie’s estate.”

“We would openly like to thank Bill Sweetman and his team for their gift and allowing us to have the use of the best domain name for Freddie’s musical legacy.”

The domain name was taken by the registrar four months after the previous owner had let it expire.

Bill Sweetman said, “Every day the YummyNames team helps entrepreneurs and marketers find the perfect domain name for their ventures, but we are especially proud to have helped the Estate of this remarkable musician get use of this domain name. Freddie Mercury is gone but he is not forgotten, and this domain name will help to keep that memory alive.”
