(The Hosting News) – America is increasingly vulnerable in terms of cyber security.
According to a report from the Washington Post on Sunday, the U.S. was named by the National Intellegence Estimate as being the target of a cyber-espionage campaign possibly maintained by China along with others.
Several integral U.S. sectors ranging from automotive to IT were discussed in the report which also noted other countries including Israel, Russia and France were “engaged in hacking for economic intelligence.”
The U.S. along with the administration of President Barack Obama has increasingly warned against dangers caused by cybersecurity threats.
China, meanwhile, has denied involvement in a variety of hacks going against the United States despite analysis that proves otherwise.
The United States did not out itself in the report – but the country has been noted to engage in cyber espionage as well via projects with ally Israel such as the Stuxnet and Flame viruses, both of which impacted Iran.
