(The Hosting News) – Phone service provider Vonage on Thursday announced a purchase of Vocalocity for $130 million.
Vocalocity provides business VoIP.
“As business VoIP moves from the early adopter phase to the mainstream, a Vocalocity and Vonage combination delivers the scale, quality and feature set to best serve customers and create phenomenal opportunities for growth. I am impressed with what Vonage has built, and look forward to joining the team,” commented Vocalocity CEO Wain Kellum via a press release.
Vocalocity brought in $28M in revenue just earlier this year.
Vonage was expected to hold a conference call to further discuss the buyout.
