Q. Tell us a little about your background. What industry experience you have? And what did you do before your company?
A. Before I started I was a college student and ended up pursuing my hosting venture during and after college.
Q. What is the History of your company and what has led to your success in the hosting industry?
A. We started in winter of 2004 and have progressed since then. I would have to say that our success is due to the way we interact with clients as well as with our providers. I believe we found a great medium between the two and are building on that.
Q. Tell our readers about your company, your products and services.
A. We are a long standing hosting company that specializes in dedicated server hosting and now cloud server hosting. We also offer shared, reseller and VPS services. All of our servers are semi-managed by our 24/7 professional and licensed staff, meaning that our clients will never be left in the dark. I believe that we are also a very flexible and customer-friendly company. We are always willing to work with our clients in terms of payments, custom configurations and price points.
Q. Do you have any other changes or additions to your service in this coming year?
A. We are now offering our Cloud Servers running on VMware software. In the coming months, we will also launch a fully redundant, fault tolerant VPS solution based around the VMware platform. This will replace our existing OpenVZ based VPS.
Q. How does your company fit into the web hosting industry? What makes you different?
A. We fill a niche by offering great services at lower prices due to our partnership status with top tier data centers. A lot of times we are able to offer better deals to the end user than going with the data center directly.
Q. How many customers your company currently have and what have you found has been the best way to grow your customer base?
A. We currently have close to 400 clients. That number may seem small to some, but our retention rate is extremely high due to our clientèle being satisfied and sure with our services. Many of our clients have a lot more than just 1 service with us. We have found that by listening to our clients and their needs, we are better able to serve them and in turn they stay longer as well as refer their friends and colleagues.
Q. Do you currently have your own datacenter and where are they located?
A. No, we do not.
Q. Do you have multiple backbone connections to the internet?
A. Yes, each of our partner data centers has multiple tier1 backbones.
Q. As far as support goes, do you offer true 27/7/365 support with live technicians?
A. We do not offer 27/7/365, but we do have true 24/7/365 technicians on staff at all times. :)
Q. Can you tell us more about these support mechanisms and to what lengths will you go to satisfy customer’s needs?
A. This goes along side of what I was saying earlier about keeping our clients happy and providing higher level of support than most. We will try to do everything we can to keep our clients happy and running smoothly. A lot of times these are simple fixes, but sometimes it requires more thought, which we will still do our best to work through for our client.
Q. The hosting industry has changed a lot in the last year, what predictions do you foresee for this coming year?
A. A lot more cloud-based offers based on enterprise grade architecture such as VMware.
Q. Lastly, what is your favorite website and the most recent book you have read?
A. My favorite site is ayksolutions.com of course. I just finished reading a series of books by Raymond Feist.
