(The Hosting News) – Hosting provider Net2EZ will soon be getting additional data center space thanks to a new agreement with data center provider Digital Realty Trust.
Net2EZ already leases space with the data center provider, but the new move will eventually give the company an additional 24 thousand square feet at the company’s site in El Segundo, California.
Digital Realty Trust made the announcement in a company press release today. Net2EZ provides services including managed, colocation, private cloud, and network solutions.
Commenting on the matter in a press release, Net2EZ CEO Pervez Delawalla stated, “Digital Realty’s ability to meet our technical requirements and provide a flexible solution quickly and cost effectively made expanding our operations with them an easy decision.”
Delawalla went on to stress his company’s “long standing relationship” with the data center provider.
Meanwhile, Digital Realty Trust expressed excitement concerning the agreement with company CEO Michael F. Foust stating, “Our Turn-Key Datacenter design is an ideal, cost effective solution for growing colocation customers, such as Net2EZ. It enables them to expand their businesses to meet their customers’ ongoing data center services needs without the significant capital investment and construction risk associated with building out their own facility.”
Other specifics of the move include that the space provides Net2EZ with the ability to handle over a thousand racks. Net2EZ launched in 2001 and focuses on serving the likes of companies involved with social networking, finance, and more.
Aside from having locations in the southern California area, Net2EZ also has a presence in Virginia and New Jersey.
Just last week, Digital Realty Trust announced an agreement to construct a data center for IT solutions provider NetApp. For more information concerning the company’s latest news, visit: http://investor.digitalrealtytrust.com/phoenix.zhtml?c=182279&p=irol-newsArticle&ID=1621073&highlight=
