(The Hosting News) – Computer services company Joyent recently announced a partnership that will see more widespread availability of its services through AT&T affiliated enterprise networking service provider Navlink.
Specifically, NavLink will use its Nice, France data center to offer Joyent’s cloud services.
And the expansion doesn’t end there. The company says the move also gives Navlink the ability to license the services in the Middle East.
The services are available under Joyent’s SmartDataCenter, a cloud-based virtualization platform.
Commenting on the matter in a press release, NavLink President and CEO Laurent Delifer stated, “We chose SmartDataCenter because of its clear differentiation from competing cloud software providers.”
“In addition to its technological advantages, Joyent has operated a profitable public cloud business for years. This partnership enables us to leverage their best practices to ensure rapid time to market,” Delifer continued.
Among the benefits of its services, Joyent lists lower pricing, fast and safe storage, and cloud analytics.
Meanwhile, Joyent’s President of EMEA Philippe Weppe expressed optimism on the move, stating, “NavLink brings years of experience and expertise providing managed services to their telecom and enterprise customers.”
Just last month, Joyent partnered with MiTAC to offer a new service called “MiCloud,” a public cloud for Tawain.
As a cloud service provider, Joyent has provided solutions for big companies including Dell. For more information on the matter, view a press release by Joyent here (joyent.com).
