(The Hosting News) – Colorado’s 10 thousand square feet Green House Data facility in Wyoming has a new addition. On Monday, it was announced that colocation and fiber network provider Zayo had finished work on its Fiber Build at the data center.
The Green House Data facility is located in Wyoming’s capital of Cheyenne and provides managed servers, storage, and firewall along with dedicated servers.
With the move, Zayo is making available “on-net connectivity” for tenants.
Commenting on the matter in a press release, Zayo Bandwidth President Dave Howson stated, “Now data center operators like Green House Data have a single-source option for metro and long haul connectivity, with deep coverage across the country.”
“Expansion of data center connectivity is an important initiative for Zayo to provide customers on-net access to the cloud-based content they need,” Howson continued.
With the fiber build complete, Zayo is providing the data center’s operator (Green House Data) with an IP Transit service.
Meanwhile, Green House Data President Shawn Mills expressed excitement, stating, “Leveraging Zayo’s nationwide metro and long haul fiber network supports our customers’ growing bandwidth needs.”
As a company, Zayo provides colocation, dark fiber, low latency, ethernet and more. Last month the company announced an expansion of its fiber network in San Diego, California, adding “400 route miles” in the area.
