(The Hosting News) – Dark fiber specialist Zayo Group on Monday announced its acquisition of co-dark fiber operator FiberLink.
Zayo Group used part of its $250 million revolving credit facility to administer the buyout.
FiberLink’s network encompasses a route between the U.S. cities of Denver and Chicago, running a total of 1,200 miles.
In a press release, the Zayo Group’s Matt Erickson noted that the Des Moines, Iowa data center market would specifically benefit from the move.
“FiberLink’s assets strengthen our ability to provide a broad range of end-to-end solutions to our customers,” Erickson stated via a press release.
